The Scholars of Hope Scholarship (SOHS) was established to acknowledge and reward under-served high school seniors who dream of furthering their education. Eligible students must exhibit a strong work ethic, dedication to their community, and demonstrated the tenacity to overcome obstacles in life. We believe in the core values of hard work, integrity, respect, perseverance and commitment and we want to support students who embody those values.

(SOHS) not only fosters the development of high school graduates but places a greater emphasis on the student’s determination to succeed rather than just the academic record and test scores. Scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $500 each to winners selected by our Education Committee. Deadline for the submission of application and required material is March 30, with an award date of April 30th.

Students who meet the eligibility requirements are encouraged to submit a scholarship application, along with the required documents. Please note: When submitting the financial needs requirement only the cover page of the FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR) showing the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) needs to to submitted.

*College care packages will be distributed to scholarship recipients and students in need..based on funding availability.
